The Dennis Windsurfing Association was formed in 1995 in response to attempts by the Town of Dennis to restrict windsurfing access to Dennis beaches. Since that time the DWA has played a proactive part in working with town officials, life guards and the harbor patrol to protect our right to windsurf on Dennis beaches. The DWA also sponsors social activities for our members. Each year the DWA sponsors an annual regatta which includes races, party and a raffle. Our annual raffle includes prizes ranging from windsurfing equipment to trips to Aruba. A portion of the proceeds has been donated to local charities including Hospice of Cape Cod and high school scholarships. The home beach is West Dennis Beach in West Dennis, Massachusetts.
